Ayané Chrun is a Paris-born artist and designer with Japanese and Chinese-Cambodian roots, and a First Class BA Design graduate from Goldsmiths, University of London.

She uses speculative design and behavioural science to solve problems:

 

from designing conversation games confronting misogyny in Japan, to developing an AI-supported NHS healthcare tool, to creative strategy for a century-old ceramics house in Kyoto.

​

Her practice also extends into the international art market. She has sold original artwork and prints, and worked at Gurr Johns in Paris across art research, valuations, exhibition production and the French art market.

​

She is now studying machine-learning mathematics and agentic AI, exploring how these technologies can become tools for design.
