Ayané Chrun is a multimedia artist and designer from Paris with Japanese and Chinese-Cambodian roots. With a strong foundation in digital and traditional art, she has worked on numerous projects in the fields of illustration, fine arts, videography, and graphics and communications, balancing research-driven insights with creative execution.

Fluent in multiple languages, she thrives in international and cross-cultural design spaces, drawing inspiration from different perspectives.

In 2023, she designed the merchandise for the 17th edition of the KINOTAYO Japanese Contemporary Cinema Festival in Strasbourg and Paris, a project that celebrated strong Japanese women—one of the central themes of her work. At its core, her art sheds light on misogyny in Japan and emotions that don’t always have words.

More than just creating, she’s interested in how art is seen, shared, and understood

whether through curation, creative direction, or the way design shapes conversation.
